Hugo Baud is a Berlin-based, French artist. Having immersed himself in skateboarding and street culture, it was through the study of applied arts and interior design that he discovered his passion for the art of painting. His expressive style depicts the influenced inner self in an attempt to expose hidden facets of social iconography, sexual symbolism and aesthetic fantasy. Bold lines, faces, grimaces and characters are used to portray the recurrence of affirmation and validation in a digital age.
