SCOPE Miami Beach 2024: A solo presentation with Lisa Ashinoff

Square One Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in the 2024 edition of SCOPE International Art Fair on Miami beach with a solo presentation of artworks by contemporary artist Lisa Ashinoff during Art Basel Miami and Miami Art Week running from December 3rd - 8th, 2024.
Lisa Ashinoff is an American artist examining the intersection of architecture, art, and the human condition through her Mid Century and Modern design inspired landscape paintings. Ashinoff's interpretation of the work holds the energies present in her childhood as the compelling force for creation stating, "I grew up in a chaotic household. Intuitively I was drawn to build constructs of ordered landscapes that gave me a feeling of space. My art empowered me to bring calm inside my home." Ashinoff continues to find the relationships between shape, color, line and perspective fascinating, compelling her to produce paintings that are almost meditative, with a sense of nostalgia and optimism.
