"Between Heaven & Earth" by Rachel English opens at Square One Gallery

Square One Gallery opened it's doors this past Friday, July 12th, for the opening reception of "Between Heave & Earth" - a solo exhibition by Rachel English. We'd like to give a big thank you to the guests and collectors who came to the opening of the exhibition, at Square One Gallery, and an even bigger thank you to the artists who contiributed work for the show. 

Through concentration on the skies—celestial, stormy, and strange—Rachel English’s work embodies a perennial urge to gaze upward and grapple with ideas of existential meaning. A lifelong fascination with the fields of astronomy and physics sustains her painting technique, involving layers of oil color and brushwork to describe cosmic forms on canvas. 

For those who were not able to make the opening night, "Between Heaven & Earth" will be on view at Square One Gallery from July 12th - August 6th. Visit the gallery Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm or Saturday and Sundays by appointment.
