Square One Gallery opened it's doors this past Friday, August 9th, for the opening reception of "Tiger Moth" - a solo exhibition by St. Louis artist Sarah Giannobile. We'd like to give a big thank you to the guests and collectors who came to the opening of the exhibition, at Square One Gallery, and an even bigger thank you to Sarah for putting together a beautiful exhibition.
Through gestural and intuitive mark marking, artist Sarah Giannobile explores the intersection of the subconscious, the natural world and symbolism through intricate forms that weave and intertwine like vines - evoking the symbiotic relationship of all living things. Inspired by dreams, memories, and past experiences, Giannobile’s linear compositions translate into invented narratives, resembling aerial views, imagined locales, and mystical landscapes.
For those who were not able to make the opening night, "Tiger Moth" will be on view at Square One Gallery from August 9th - September 9th. Visit the gallery Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm or Saturday and Sundays by appointment.
