Square One Gallery opened it's doors this past Friday, September 13th, for the opening reception of "Today Was A Good Day" - a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Orit Fuchs. We'd like to give a big thank you to the guests and collectors who came to the opening of the exhibition, at Square One Gallery, and an even bigger thank you to Orit for putting together a beautiful presentation.
“My artistic vision is rooted in capturing those elusive moments in life that often pass us by unnoticed, those fleeting, intimate glimpses of humanity that reveal our raw, unvarnished truths. My art stands as a defiant reminder to embrace our true selves and live with unapologetic attitude and style.” - Orit Fuchs
A visionary storyteller, artist and painter Orit Fuchs creates large-scale contemporary portraits that each narrate a unique and relatable story, delving into the complexities of the human experience. Fuchs is dedicated to enlightening and expanding views on the role of women in society, skillfully incorporating elements of pop culture and modern gender roles into her works. Her evocative imagery blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction, inviting viewers to explore contemporary perceptions of identity. Her vivid, illustrative portraits possess a titillating power that elegantly redefines classic portraiture.
For those who were not able to make the opening night, "Today Was A Good Day" will be on view at Square One Gallery from September 13th - October 14th. Visit the gallery Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm or Saturday and Sundays by appointment.
